Arts Technologist KamranV builds bridges between the real and the ideal. Current interests include holograms, automation, and quadraphonic music. Recent explorations include developing the PHONOCUT home vinyl recorder, reimagining Moogfest, co-creating the SONOS studio and producing Suzanne Ciani's LIVE Quadraphonic, the first quadraphonic vinyl release in over 30 years. In the aughts as an artist manäger and new media producer at Interscope Records, he developed early digital music, social, mobile. video platforms, and experimental formats, serving as a producer for spacial music releases for Nine Inch Nails and Beck. As co-founder of Echo Park's largest music facility Bedrock.LA, he also serves Bedrock.LA's community as a board member of the non-profit dublab. KamranV has received two National Endowment for the Arts Media Arts grants and his immersive installations have had special event showings at LACMA and MOMA PS1.
